Verify M-Pesa receipts in Ethiopia

M-Pesa is Safaricom's mobile money service in Ethiopia. Tuna can verify M-Pesa receipts using their JSON API.

How to verify

  1. Find your transaction reference from the bank receipt or mobile app
  2. Go to txna.me
  3. Select the bank and paste the reference
  4. Click Verify to see the result

What you get

  • • Sender name and account
  • • Receiver name and account
  • • Transaction amount and currency
  • • Transaction date and time
  • • Transaction status (success, pending, failed)

API access

Developers can use the API directly: POST to https://api.txna.me/verify with the bank and reference. See the API docs for details.
